The three decans of Cancer each carry unique qualities and energies that can express matriarchal law and wisdom in different ways. Here’s a breakdown of how each decan can embody these principles:
The Moon/Venus - 1st Decan of Cancer (0° to 10°) Her Care
Symbolism: This decan is ruled by the Moon and is associated with the nurturing and protective qualities of Cancer.
Expressions of Matriarchal Law and Wisdom:
Nurturing and Caregiving:
This decan emphasizes the importance of nurturing relationships and creating safe spaces for growth. This naturally begins with the "intuitive insight" that homes in on what is felt or experienced by the person in vulnerability or the vulnerability in the other person. The intuition is what helps us to meet a person where they are. Intuition informs us of the emotional data that is available in an environment or expressed through the body as facial expressions, body posture, the aura, the feel of their energy, pattern recognition and the gut feeling. This is the Oracle in action that is "reading" the room, person or situation. This read is similar to the moon as the moon reads every range of frequencies from all planets and stars while having the ability to interpret that frequency down to the earth as a lantern would shine its soft light down to the earth. It embodies the matriarchal principle of care, encouraging communities to prioritize emotional support and well-being. Care is a response or reaction to the "status and condition" of a person or situation that reads as vulnerable. For this reason women especially are very sensitive to vulnerabilities in themselves and others; especially in children or those who they love. Men have this same faculty although it may not be as advanced as the natural woman. Care is a response which means that it is part of the active will. The active will as the Mercy of Allah or God "being" God actively in Divine Feminine Matriarchal wisdom and authority. Care also comes with authority. Without authority we can fail to fulfill the demands and requirements of care. Care can only be administered with the balance of strength and sensitivity. Care often requires tasking control or command of a situation in order to subject a person or circumstance to order to do justice. This is also where submission comes into play. We all owe submission to the one who "acts" on behalf of our care and self preservation. A person may express concern about our status and advise us to change our behavior, conduct or mindset. That is manifest authority being expressed hopefully form compassionate and understanding concern that is sincere. When that manifests it is important for us to not see a person but to see Allah manifest in that moment of need in our best interest which expresses compassion, understanding and love. We owe obedience eternally to love and understanding any time it is expressed as a concern or instructions or admonition. To fail to show submission to such concern or instructions or advice is consistent with self betrayal, arrogance, self negligence, defiance and self oppression. Our will can often be subject to our ego and that is a dangerous position to be in. When our pride causes us to betray our wisdom or to reject guidance we are in willful disobedience and karma must follow on the scales of justice eventually. A person that is speaking and acting on behalf of our own well being in authorized to stand between our self and our desires. Submission is what allows that to be fulfilled. We are not submitting to person; we are submitting to the Supreme Matriarchal Law being expressed and manifest through a person. We should give no argument, resistance or fight in that moment. Submit fully and willingly to the matriarchal Law.
Emotional Intelligence:
Individuals influenced by this decan often possess strong intuition and empathy. This wisdom can guide decision-making processes, fostering a deeper understanding of emotional needs within families and communities. This is the Oracle that casts divination from the power of the soul and gut. The deepest emotional needs are often hidden behind modesty, shyness, fear, shame, guilt, circumstances, pride and many other expressions and images of the being. Intuition has to verify the status of a person because we often use our words and body language to portray confidence or a status that is not sincere to what we are experiences or suffering. The intuition can pic up on what is "not being said or expressed". This is also the image of a woman. She is there to read what is not being said or done. She is there to make known what requires advocacy, care, attention, security or nurturing. We can't trust confession to reveal our status at any time. Confession is often not sincere nor honest nor even clear to the self cognitively of what status we are subject to. Our status and condition in full has to be "read"by the lunar oracle. This is another image of a woman while this faculty is not limited to women. Emotional intelligence also enhances self awareness as well as the full awareness of the other persons being and status and what is there without full representation in their image that still requires consideration, advocacy and acknowledgement. No one wants to feel misunderstood, invisible or neglected.
Protection of Vulnerable:
The protective nature of this decan aligns with matriarchal values that advocate for the safeguarding of vulnerable populations, emphasizing the need for compassion and support in societal structures. Vulnerabilities are the natural assignment of Cancer archetypes. Cancer placements in our natal birth chart are places in our life where we are meant through our destiny to have a heightened sensitivity and awareness of other vulnerabilities. We have to have a spirit of compassion and understanding while we have access to the vulnerable places of others because that access is a trust. We can't protect or advocate for any one who is vulnerable without earning their trust. We have to be trustworthy and we have to be read by them as trustworthy. The other person needs to be able to verify if they can trust you by your behavior and demeanor. Protection is the active will of the Master advocate , Cancer. We understand the depth of other vulnerabilities through the awareness of our own vulnerabilities and its emotional limitations. We have to first experience these things and suffer these things if we are meant or destined to perform this heroic service of advocacy. We often are scheduled by destiny to suffer very specific vulnerable crisis as a means of expanding our emotional and intuitive awareness of particular experiences that we are meant to relate to others upon. The depth of our suffering is equal to the depth of our compassion and intuitive reach.
