LEO MERCURY RETROGRADE IN OPPOSITION TO AQUARIUS PLUTO RETROGRADE

Leo Mercury Retrograde: Internal Cognitive Opportunities

Leo Mercury retrograde is hosting internal cognitive opportunities of review, in representation of the heart's expression which is the inner child’s expression; and also the expression of the "heart/soul urge" numerological vibration. The heart/soul urge vibration is the numerical value of the day of the month that you were born on. For example, if you were born on the 28th, 2+8=10, so the value is 1.

The Significance of the Number 1

1 is to assume leadership, responsibility, and creative solutions in crisis. With Mercury in retrograde at Leo, we are being taken down a time portal into the past to review what we created "from the heart's urge" through our communication styles or disposition. There could be opportunities to make corrections, adjustments, realignments, reconsiderations, or reassessments of missed opportunities based on our character or lack of awareness.

The Mercy of Retrograde Planets

This is a mercy when a planet goes retrograde. If we dropped anything in the gutter, we get to retrieve it and salvage what we overlooked as value or opportunity. Value and opportunity are not just in what we covet but also in what we learn to respect, appreciate, cherish, consider, reverence, honor, give proper estimation to, or revisit with wisdom and understanding so as to escape the closed eye of the fool.

Mercury: The Cognitive Perception

Mercury is the satellite of our cognitive perception and inference. The retrograde of Mercury in Leo is to ensure that the "cognitive mind/Mercury" is not lacking alignment, consistency, or competence in reading the urges of the heart as an expression of words or other communication styles, even as insignificant as body language or choice reactions and responses to stimulants of our environment.

The Archetype of Esu: Lord of Wonders

Mercury is an archetype of Esu, The Lord of Wonders, because the mind can work wonders in good and in mischief (Gemini). Esu is the Lord of the crossroads because crossroads are parallel to crisis. Crisis is a point of decision. The cognitive mind determines our judgments of decision or indecision. Esu is not loyal to good nor bad. Esu is the trickster because he laughs at the fool who thinks he is wise while he laughs with the fool who knows they are not wise. Because Mercury has no loyalty to good nor bad it must be subject to the Moon (Matriarchal Wisdom, Intuition, Insight, Oracle, gut instinct, moral compass and Compassion / Understanding) lest it lead us astray. Cancer is hosting Jupiter which expands this possibility of seeing higher wisdom through the Matriarchal inner constitution and moral compass in our dealing of communications and perceptions and conclusions in our square.

The Tragedy of Misalignment

It is a tragedy when the mind and the heart are not on the same page. When the mind and the heart are not in tune. When the mind and the heart are not aligned, we have indecision or inconsistencies with our impulses and communicated thoughts and intentions. We find that our actions do not align with our communications. We fall into internal conflict.

Wisdom: The Balance Between Heart and Mind

Wisdom is the balance between the Heart (Leo/Sun) and the Mind (Gemini/Virgo Mercury). It is the same with the position of the Sun with Mercury. Mercury is the first impulse or planet to read from the Sun. It is the same with Esu, who is first to read from Ifa or Orunmillah, the Orisha of Wisdom and Destiny.

The Suns Impulse: A Numerological Read

The Sun's impulse is a numerological impulse that has to be read by Mercury to initiate a means of expression. That read of the heart is a frequency of energy or spirit that is specific to your heart, particularly to the numerical vibration of the day you were born. The heart wants to express nothing else except that vibration.

Mercury and the Voice of the Inner Soul

Mercury reads that vibration as the voice of the inner soul, and through eternal energy, it becomes data. That data then looks for references of expression through the internal awareness of itself and external awareness of itself as it moves according to the algorithm of Gemini, which is to read between the personality (1st house and Aries) and the Soul (5th house and Leo).

The Role of the Moon in Grounding Energy

That data then is picked up by the Moon, which subjects the data to matriarchal wisdom as moral conviction and emotional relativity. This causes the Moon to dress the data in the image of Allah or God or Olodumare, however you want to call the Most High. From the Moon, this energy is grounded to earth as a self-realized impulse that desires to be nurtured as a being of life. That grounding is in earth (material) relative experience.

Venus: Social and Material Desires

From there, the astral body called Venus reads that energy, which relates it to social and material desires through the five senses, in which it then "attracts" that very ideal magnetically into its reality. From there, it is asserted upon as a proactive expression of the self through Mars, which is to justify its existence and image through expression. Venus also subjects our hearts urge to the 42 Laws of Maat directly and indirectly as sensitivity to local ethics which is a universality of moral commitment and right conduct in our pursuit of our desires. If we violate the heart will be judged against the feather of truth. This is our Libra expression as well.

Jupiter: Expanding Creative Possibilities

From there, it is Father Jupiter that takes this same energy and expands its creative possibilities in how that single impulse can be further realized and expressed. Then it is Saturn that subjects this form of now "active will" to the time continuum as discipline, commitment, subjugation, order, accountability, and obedience in order for the "character" to be formed to "embody" that expression as a character or personification exemplified in status, duty, and service.

Uranus: Authentic Expression

It is Uranus that maintains the authentic expression in far distance from the Sun, where the expression first began. Uranus is the one that delivers us from any inconsistent expressions of frequencies that are not true or authentic to the Soul at the Sun. Uranus also succeeds Mars' will to actualize our heart-soul urge as active and assertive will.

The Role of Neptune in Dissolution

Uranus makes sure that the patterns of Mars have junction points, joints, turns, curves, or angles to characterize the image and expression of one’s life into a unique consistency through "innovative means" that succeed the "creative" means of Mars. Uranus is to Mars as Zinc is to Iron in the immune system. It is also as Zinc is to Iron in the galvanization of metals. Uranus gives longevity to the strength and works of Mars. Mars is Orisha Ogun, the god of War. Uranus is Oba Shango, the god of thunder and lightning.

Pluto: Transformation and Renewal

When this impulse has innovation, it then must be subject to dissolve through Neptune. Neptune dissolves the excess or waste materials of the past timelines of Mars as the impulse of expression from the Sun is subjected to the innovative adjustments of Uranus. Neptune will repurpose anything that is lost, dissolved, or purged in respect to the soul's journey. From there, it is a renewal opportunity that Pluto intercedes for. Pluto conditions us to realize the depths of love, truth, acceptance and wisdom. Pluto aligns us with the power behind every drop of blood, sweat and tears that we produce as evidence of our presence with the power of truth. Pluto has us to produce our evidence of love. Love of the self as trust of the self. The evidence is in the blood, sweat and tears that we trust ourselves to shed and share as demonstration of power in the name of Love.

The Serenity Prayer: A Path to Acceptance

That renewal requires surrender and admittance as well as acceptance at the point of powerlessness, helplessness, and lack of control over experiences or people. This is the manifestation of the serenity prayer: "Father God, grant us the serenity to accept the things that we cannot change. Grant us the courage to change the things that we can and give us the wisdom to know the difference."

Pluto: The Transformer Box

Pluto is there as a transformer box. That transformer box jumps the voltage through the transformation of our power. Pluto subjects our process to certain points of disillusionment after that energy has left Neptune, picking up excess illusions. Pluto does this by showing us the many faces of death and disappointment, reality checks, and hard, harsh truths that have to be accepted.

The Lessons of Pluto

Pluto teaches us how to realign with truth so that we remain witnesses to the truth and not liars in God's image. Pluto is here to remove our hand from hard truths of the past that we refuse to accept as being true or reality. To attach is to suffer. There is no other way to suffer. Pluto is here to teach us to face what we think we have to fear about the future.

The Faces of Fear and Reality

The faces of death get shown to us. The very thing that we fear happens to us. This is to confirm that fear is an illusion of ignorance. It is to show that control is a distrust in the justice of Allah or God, which is you witnessing you from heaven (the higher mind or Pisces). Pluto is the last stop of this heart-soul urge because it is where we conquer death, and it is where we become one with truth.

The Power of Resurrection

It is where we are witnesses to the power of eternal wisdom and love through the darkness and valleys of death. It is where we know the power of resurrection within the being. Pluto is where we learn to transform and transmute venom into antidote, and we learn how to die in order to live more fulfilled. It is the point of death and rebirth, which has its similarities with Virgo #9 Hermit Tarot Card, which is now at the South Node transit.

Respecting the Transit

I went this long route to explain this detail so we can respect this transit. Mercury retrograde is in opposition to Aquarius Pluto. Now that I explained Pluto, we can relate it to Aquarius, which is your service that your gifts, talents, personality, strength, and wisdom are to manifest your destiny.

Pluto Retrograde: A Review of Service

Pluto is also retrograde, which means it is a review of how you are showing up in your service to the people that Allah entrusted under your care or at your side. Pluto brings into the examination insights and review in how we have been relating to points of change, transformation, acceptance, power struggles, control, and hard or harsh truths that we must accept.

The Call for Transformation

Pluto is examining our acceptance of others and their differences and what they have to contribute as power, talents, and wisdom as well. Mercury in Leo, in opposition to Pluto, can look like feedback on how we communicate through our image, words, expressions, and creative works to others. Are we trying to make everything about ourselves? Are we desperate for the spotlight, attention, and validation?

The Ego vs. Heart Urge

Do we have selfish and diva-like intentions behind what we are communicating? Is our ego communicating more than our heart's urge to serve? Pluto retrograde is showing us where and how we may need to transform in order to serve with deeper connections and opportunities to society and the environments we serve. Pluto is also asking us where we may need to learn acceptance and surrender so that we can transform or transmute from a dead status into a living status? Mercury is first to read the hearts impulse. At Leo Mercury could read this impulse to the ego which could miss the heavenly intention for the people. You may have a gift, advantage, influence, provision, talent, capacity and generosity that you misperceived as your own option to serve others with conveniently. The truth is that you could have overlooked a heavenly order to serve not for YOU but for HEAVEN with what you were sent with. You were not given capacity or gifts or advantage or power to exercise generosity or abundance for your own stomach and face or convenience. You were given everything that you have to serve with. This is to look again at what you think is yours and understand that is is not yours but it is entrusted to you which makes you a trustee and steward of a particular value that is with you to serve your community with. Get up off it is what Pluto demands. Jupiter in Cancer only expands for those who expand for others.

Dang Bukola, this was the most spot-on, deeply felt writing, you have done, yet. Unfolding before my eyes, and also perceived in hindsight. Simultaneously. Thank you, my friend. I always learn what needs learned from you. Always. No window licking or drooling over here.
